Former GWCL Boss Clifford Braimah Files to Contest NPP Savannah Chairmanship

Former Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limited, Dr. Ing. Clifford Braimah, has officially filed his nomination to contest the Savannah Regional Chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Submitting his nomination forms at the NPP Savannah Regional Office in Damongo, Dr. Braimah pledged to unite the party and reposition it for victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to journalists after filing his nomination, he expressed concern over the party's declining electoral fortunes in the region, noting that the NPP's parliamentary representation has dropped from three seats to one out of the region's seven constituencies.

He attributed the setback partly to divisions among constituency executives and called for renewed unity, arguing that constituencies including Damongo, Salaga North, Salaga South, Daboya, Bole, Sawla, and Yapei-Kusawgu remain winnable for the party.
