Sports Minister Kofi Adams says government's intention is to modernise the Ho Sports Stadium to enable it host CAF-certified events.
He explained that the upgrade forms part of efforts to improve sports infrastructure, create better facilities for athletes, and expand Ghana's capacity to host major football competitions.
The move is expected to enhance the standard of the facility and support the growth of sports in the Volta Region and beyond.
