President John Dramani Mahama has announced plans to redevelop the Ho Sports Stadium into a modern multi-purpose sports facility as part of government's investment in sports infrastructure.
The President said the upgrade will help improve sporting facilities and create opportunities for athletes and communities in the Volta Region.
He also expressed confidence in the Black Stars, saying the team can achieve greater success if the current squad is maintained and given the necessary support.
