Nationwide, nearly 7,000 people may have been sickened, with 1,645 of those cases confirmed and more than 5,100 still under investigation. Plus, smoke from Canadian wildfires is blanketing major cities across the U.S., obscuring iconic skylines and prompting air quality alerts. And raging flood waters rushed into cars and homes after a water main break today. Two men scrambled to get out of a sinkhole that opened up near Sunset Boulevard. And there's good news tonight: A family who lost everything in the devastating Utah wildfires was surprised with a new home donated by members of the community.
