US Defense Secretary calls for testosterone testing | DW News

The Pentagon plans to begin testing testosterone levels in US service members over 30 as part of a new health initiative championed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. He says the program will improve readiness, resilience and combat effectiveness by addressing hormonal health. Critics, however, question the scientific basis of the move and warn it could blur the line between medical care and ideology.
