School Feeding Coordinator Urges Education Directors To Intensify Monitoring

The National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, Hajia Fati Forgor, has appealed to district and municipal education directors across the country to help sustain the gains made under the programme through regular monitoring of school heads and caterers.

She said education directors play a critical role in ensuring that caterers adhere to required standards and deliver quality meals to pupils.

According to Hajia Fati Forgor, regular visits and effective monitoring will help the secretariat identify challenges, improve service delivery and ensure the programme achieves its objectives.

She made the appeal during a working visit to selected schools in the New Juaben South Municipality, where she also engaged caterers through training and monitoring activities.
