Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency of the Ashanti Region have vowed to resist attempts to re-run the constituency executive elections following the party's decision to annul the process.
The executives insist the outcome reflected the will of delegates and have urged the party leadership to focus on rebuilding unity ahead of the 2028 general elections instead of reopening internal contests.
They argue that respecting the choices made by delegates is essential to maintaining cohesion within the party.
