Israeli attacks kill at least five Palestinians in Gaza despite ‘ceasefire’
A ceasefire meant to bring calm to Gaza has failed to stop further destruction and displacement for many Palestinians. Families in central Gaza said they were forced to flee after receiving evacuation calls before strikes hit their neighbourhoods. Residents described having only minutes to collect essential belongings as homes were reduced to rubble. At least five Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza City The attacks have left displaced families questioning how they can find safety, with shelters already overwhelmed across the Strip. The latest violence comes as talks continue over reconstruction and the next phase of the ceasefire agreement, while Palestinian officials report continued casualties from Israeli attacks. Families are now searching through destroyed homes for blankets, mattresses and other basic items as they face renewed uncertainty.
