Road users and residents along the Bimbilla–Chamba road are demanding urgent intervention over the deteriorating condition of the stretch.

The concerns follow the contractor's decision to begin painting road markings despite several sections of the road being riddled with potholes.

Residents say the road, which has been under construction for more than four years, remains in poor condition, with damaged sections posing serious risks to motorists and commuters.

They are calling on authorities and the contractor to address the defects and complete the project to improve safety and mobility along the route.
