Argentina and England fans experienced sharply different emotions as Argentina came from behind to beat England 2-1 in their semifinal clash at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In Buenos Aires, Argentina supporters packed a park, singing, waving flags before erupting in celebration after Lautaro Martinez's stoppage-time winner. In London, England fans at a fan zone celebrated Anthony Gordon's second-half opener, but the mood turned sour after Enzo Fernandez equalized in the 85th minute and Martinez completed Argentina's comeback seven minutes later.
