Trump seeks exit from unpopular war on Iran as US strikes continue: AJE correspondent

Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna joins live from Washington, DC. He says US forces have launched strikes against Iran for a fifth consecutive day, targeting sites linked to Iran's military control of the Strait of Hormuz and efforts to disrupt shipping through the strategic waterway.

While President Donald Trump insists the attacks will continue, he has also stated that Iran requested talks with US officials.
