Albert Dwumfour Responds To NDC Apology Over Obaatanpa Radio Incident

The President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, has welcomed the apology from the Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Richard Kofi Asiedu, over the alleged attack on Obaatanpa Radio.
Mr. Dwumfour acknowledged the responses to the demands made by the GJA and called for a peaceful resolution of the matter.
He also appealed to the National Executive of the NDC to halt any intended sanctions against him in connection with the incident.
The GJA continues to emphasise the need to protect press freedom and ensure journalists can operate without intimidation.
