46 Doctors Linked To 64% Of Reported Medical Negligence Cases — Council

The Ghana Medical and Dental Council has disclosed that 64 percent of reported cases of alleged medical negligence involve 46 medical practitioners.

The revelation was made by the Registrar of the Council, Dr. Divine Banyubala, during a visit by Parliament's Health Committee.

The Council said it is working to address concerns within the health sector while strengthening professional standards, accountability and support systems for medical practitioners.
