GN Savings CONFIDENT Supreme Court Will Uphold Licence Restoration

Vice President of Groupe Nduom, Nana Ofori Owusu, says the company remains confident that the Supreme Court will ultimately uphold the Court of Appeal's decision restoring the operating licence of GN Savings and Loans.
His comments follow the Supreme Court's decision to grant the Bank of Ghana's application to suspend the execution of the Court of Appeal's judgment pending the determination of the central bank's appeal.
Speaking to Citi Business News, Mr. Owusu explained that the latest ruling only concerns the stay of execution and does not represent a determination of the substantive appeal before the Supreme Court.
The case is expected to continue as the apex court considers the legal arguments surrounding the revocation and restoration of GN Savings and Loans' licence.
