Ghanaian students pursuing undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programmes in the United Kingdom under the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat are set to stage a protest on July 30, 2026, over prolonged delays in the payment of tuition fees and living stipends.
The students say months of unpaid fees have left many at risk of being withdrawn from their institutions and facing possible immigration challenges.
Speaking to Channel One News, Prince Komla Bansah said repeated attempts to engage the scholarship authorities have been unsuccessful and announced that all scholarship cohorts will join the planned protest.
