The Ghana National Council of Private Schools has announced that private schools will continue to organise graduation ceremonies despite the recent directive issued by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The GES directive seeks to ban graduation ceremonies, prom nights, and similar events in both public and private schools.
Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show, National Executive Director Enoch Gyetuah argued that private schools are regulated by institutions such as the National Schools Inspectorate Authority and not the Ghana Education Service.
