Some aggrieved members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Weija-Gbawe Constituency are demanding the annulment of the constituency executive election results held on Saturday.

The group alleges widespread irregularities during the electoral area executives elections, claiming that directives from the party's national leadership to suspend the polls, as well as a court injunction, were disregarded.

They warn that without transparent and fair electoral processes, the party risks undermining its chances in future general elections.

Speaking to Channel One News, Awotwe Daniel, Vice President of the aggrieved supporters, outlined the group's concerns and called for corrective action.
