The World Food Programme (WFP) has commended the quality of meals served under the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) and praised the School Connect initiative for improving transparency and accountability.
Speaking during a monitoring exercise, WFP Country Director Aurore Rusiga acknowledged progress made under the programme but called for further efforts to enhance the nutritional value of meals provided to pupils.
The comments come as stakeholders continue efforts to strengthen school feeding delivery, monitoring, and nutrition outcomes for children across Ghana.
