US reimposes blockade on Iranian ports as Gulf faces retaliatory attacks
The US has reinstated its naval blockade on Iran saying it's in response to attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz. US forces are now blocking traffic coming to and from Iranian ports. And Donald Trump has threatened to carry out more strikes on Iran.
The US military has carried out strikes on Iran for a fourth consecutive night. US Central Command says it hit dozens of Iranian military targets.
Iran has launched retaliatory attacks across the region. Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan have sounded air raid sirens and intercepted missiles.
Al Jazeera's Resul Serdar reports from Tehran and Aksel Zaimovic in Doha for the Gulf reaction.
