Clothing woven in the mountains
In Longsheng, southern China, ethnic communities have lived for generations among the same mountains and rivers. The landscape of terraced fields stretches across the valleys, carrying layered cultural memories. In this episode, CGTN host Julian Waghann and Filipino singer Eliza Arce travel to Huangluo Yao Village. Beginning with the Red Yao tradition of sun-drying clothes, they explore the colors, craftsmanship and everyday wisdom woven into these garments. Their journey culminates in a vibrant bonfire gathering, where different communities come together in celebration.
