Accra Airport Passengers React to New Security Screening Equipment

Passengers using the newly installed security screening technology at the Accra International Airport say the upgrade will improve travel efficiency and strengthen Ghana's ambition to become West Africa's leading aviation hub.

The new equipment was recently deployed by the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) at the passenger checkpoints of Terminals 2 and 3 of the airport as part of efforts to enhance aviation security.

Travellers say the modern systems will improve the screening process, reduce delays and provide a better airport experience for passengers.

The upgrade forms part of ongoing efforts to modernise Ghana's aviation infrastructure and meet international standards.
