TUSAAG DEFENDS Planned Strike Over Unpaid Research Allowance

The Technical University Senior Administrators Association of Ghana (TUSAAG) has defended its decision to embark on an industrial action on Monday, July 20.
The strike is to protest delays in the payment of a one-time research allowance and concerns surrounding the implementation of an agreed interim allowance.
Speaking to Channel One News, TUSAAG President Stanley Akamiri Abopaam said all attempts to engage relevant stakeholders to resolve the issues have not yielded any favourable outcome.
The association says the industrial action is aimed at drawing attention to outstanding concerns affecting senior administrators in technical universities across the country.
