The Minority in Parliament has alleged that free tickets provided by the government for Ghanaian supporters to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup were sold instead of being distributed as intended.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament, the First Deputy Minority Whip and Member of Parliament for Tolon, Habib Iddrisu, called on the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, to appear before the House to provide details on Ghana's participation in the tournament.
The Minority is seeking clarity on Ghana's World Cup preparations, supporter arrangements, and the management of resources allocated for the country's participation.
