Judge SLAMS Trump Lawyers over 'bad faith' IRS lawsuit, settlement

In a new ruling, a federal judge is harshly criticizing President Trump's lawsuit against the IRS, arguing it was brought in "bad faith" for an "improper purpose." Trump sued his own administration in January over the leak of his tax returns and then struck an agreement with the IRS in late May to create a $1.776-billion dollar so-called "anti-weaponization" fund, which was intended to help Trump's political supporters. In her 56-page decision yesterday, the judge determined lawyers on both sides of the case, including Trump's attorneys, lawyers for the Justice Department, and IRS, tried to "manipulate the judicial process."
