A former Director-General of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA), Prof. Edward Appiah, is calling for a major transformation of Ghana's education system through the decolonisation of the curriculum.
Prof. Appiah argues that the current curriculum must be restructured to better reflect Ghana's realities while equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to compete in a rapidly changing global economy.
He is urging government and educational institutions to adopt reforms that promote critical thinking, innovation, and practical learning to produce a generation capable of driving national development.
