The Ghana Shippers' Authority (GSA) has secured a major legal victory after the **High Court dismissed an application seeking to halt the implementation of its directive capping Container Administrative Charges (CAC).

The ruling allows the Authority to proceed with measures aimed at regulating shipping-related costs at Ghana's ports and protecting shippers from excessive charges.

The CAC directive forms part of efforts to improve transparency, promote fairness, and ensure greater oversight within the country's maritime and logistics sector.

The Ghana Shippers' Authority says the move will help create a more predictable and efficient trading environment for businesses and importers.
