President John Dramani Mahama and former President Nana Akufo-Addo have paid glowing tributes to the late Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II, describing him as a symbol of peace, unity, and reconciliation.

President Mahama said the late Overlord will be remembered as a distinguished traditional ruler whose reign brought healing, reconciliation, and lasting peace to the Dagbon Kingdom following years of conflict.

Former President Akufo-Addo also described Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II as a beacon of unity, strength, and an enduring legacy for the Dagbon people.

The tributes come as Ghana mourns the passing of the revered traditional leader, whose reign was marked by efforts to promote peace and stability in Dagbon.
