NPP supporters demand release of Dennis Miracles Aboagye after EOCO arrest

Senior aide to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, remains in the custody of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) following his arrest on Saturday.
EOCO says the arrest is connected to investigations into the alleged misappropriation of GH¢55 million during his tenure as Executive Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralisation.
On Monday, scores of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters gathered outside EOCO's headquarters to demand his release and express concerns over his continued detention.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities expected to provide further updates as the process unfolds.
