DIGITAL SKILLS PROGRAMME: Graduates To Earn Microsoft Certifications And Global Opportunities

The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Digital Centres Limited (GDCL), Dzifa Gunu, says participants of the digital skills and employment programme will receive globally recognised Microsoft certifications and European credit transfers.

The programme, being implemented in partnership with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), will train 2,000 Ghanaian youth in areas including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

According to Dzifa Gunu, 600 trainees will secure paid internships, while graduates will also be connected to job opportunities both in Ghana and abroad.

The initiative will begin in five regions as part of a pilot phase, with plans to expand nationwide after a successful implementation.
