Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has called on Ghana's security agencies to strengthen public trust by treating citizens with professionalism, respect, and transparency.

Speaking during a visit to the Ministry of the Interior, the Vice President said effective law enforcement depends on strong cooperation between security institutions and the public.

She stressed that citizens are more likely to support the work of security agencies when they have confidence in their professionalism and integrity, urging officers to avoid actions that create fear or distrust.

According to Professor Opoku-Agyemang, building trust is essential to maintaining law and order and ensuring a safer society for all.
