CONSTITUTION REVIEW: Cabinet Meeting RESCHEDULED After Clean-Up Exercise Delay

Cabinet is set to reconvene to finalise the government's position paper on the review of Ghana's 1992 Constitution after its previous meeting was postponed due to the National Clean-Up Exercise.

Although a new date for the meeting is yet to be announced, Cabinet has already held two sessions to deliberate on the position paper, with only a few amendment proposals remaining for consideration before the document is completed.

Once approved, the Attorney General and the government's legal team will consolidate the position paper and submit it, together with the Constitutional Review Committee's report, to the Constitutional Review Implementation Committee to begin the implementation process.
