Latter-day Saints donate $300,000 relief items to flood victims through NADMO

The Africa West Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has donated relief items valued at approximately US$300,000 to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to support victims of the recent floods in Ghana.

The donation included food items, mosquito nets, and hygiene supplies aimed at providing immediate relief to households affected by the flooding.

Speaking during the presentation, General Authority Seventy of The Church, Elder Adeyinka A. Ojediran, urged Ghanaians to practise responsible waste disposal and maintain proper environmental sanitation to help prevent future flooding.

The gesture forms part of ongoing efforts by organisations and institutions to support flood-affected communities and strengthen disaster response efforts.
