Investor appetite for Treasury bills has strengthened significantly, with the latest government auction attracting bids nearly double the targeted amount.
According to figures released by the Bank of Ghana, investors submitted a total of GH¢10.03 billion in bids across the 91-day, 182-day, and 364-day T-bill tenors, exceeding the government's target of GH¢5.67 billion.
The strong demand reflects increased investor participation in the domestic debt market as the government continues to rely on Treasury bills for short-term financing.
