Jim VandeHei: Iran conflict ‘could get a lot worse before it gets better’

The U.S. and Iran are getting closer to the middle of a 60-day memorandum of understanding aimed at permanent peace negotiations. But the two sides are still fighting over control over the Strait of Hormuz. Axios' Jim VandeHei warns a “massive escalation” in the conflict could be on the horizon, due in large part to both pressure from Israel and Iran's empowerment in the strait.
