President John Dramani Mahama says the Ghana Armed Forces will continue sanitation operations beyond the two-day National General Clean-Up Exercise.

He explained that the exercise will focus on clearing debris from drains and transporting waste to designated dumpsites as part of efforts to improve sanitation and reduce flooding risks.

The President emphasised the need for sustained action to keep communities clean and prevent future environmental challenges.
