The Municipal Chief Executive for Nanumba North has visited families affected by the tragic Oti River canoe accident to offer support and solidarity following the incident.
The disaster claimed the lives of several passengers after a canoe carrying people returning from a funeral capsized on the Oti River near Salnaayili.
Rescue teams have continued search efforts, with some bodies recovered while others remain missing.
The visit forms part of efforts by local authorities to engage affected families and provide support following the tragedy.
