National Clean-Up: Western Regional Minister calls for sustained sanitation efforts

The Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, is calling for the National Clean-Up Exercise to be sustained beyond the two-day exercise.

Speaking during the nationwide sanitation exercise, the Minister urged residents to make cleanliness a daily responsibility rather than an activity limited to special clean-up days.

He commended residents, security personnel, and stakeholders for their participation and stressed the need for continued efforts to keep communities clean, protect public health, and reduce the risk of flooding.

The call forms part of growing appeals from leaders across the country for the national sanitation drive to become a lasting habit.
