KASOA FLOOD RISKS: Police Call For Strict Enforcement Of Sanitation Laws

Personnel from the various security services have joined the national sanitation exercise in the Awutu Senya East Municipality, with a focus on improving environmental cleanliness in Kasoa.

Led by the Central East Regional Police Command, the officers have been working to clear waste and support sanitation efforts across the municipality.

Speaking to Citi News, the Central East Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Nchor, said the exercise has been affected by concrete blockades along some drainage sections, which could worsen flooding risks.

He called on the Municipal Assembly to strictly enforce sanitation regulations and prevent activities that obstruct waterways and contribute to environmental disasters.
