LEKMA CLEAN-UP: MP Benjamin Ayiku Urges Residents To Help Prevent Floods

The Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Benjamin Narteh Ayiku, has urged residents and traders in the municipality to stop dumping refuse into drainage systems.

Speaking during a clean-up exercise organised in flood-prone communities within the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly (LEKMA), the MP said maintaining clean surroundings must become part of residents' daily habits.

He stressed that responsible waste disposal is critical to preventing flooding and improving sanitation across communities.

Mr. Ayiku also commended the security personnel and the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly for their support and active participation in the exercise.
