The Director of Operations at the Presidency, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, says enforcement of laws against buildings constructed on waterways will be done without political discrimination.

Speaking on the government's flood mitigation efforts, COP Kofi Boakye stressed that structures obstructing waterways will be removed regardless of the political affiliation of their owners.

He said the law must apply equally to all Ghanaians, whether they support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The move forms part of broader measures to reduce flooding risks and protect communities affected by illegal developments along waterways.
