Ukraine gets Patriot missile production approval as drone strikes hit Russian oil targets

Al Jazeera correspondent Audrey Macalpine reports from Kyiv on the US granting Ukraine a license to produce Patriot interceptor missiles, a major outcome from the NATO summit in Ankara.

The agreement is designed to strengthen Ukraine's air defenses as Russian missile attacks continue. The report also examines Ukraine's expanding drone campaign against Russian oil tankers in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov, targeting key parts of Russia's energy infrastructure.

Kyiv says the operations demonstrate its ability to strike deeper targets, while seeking continued support from NATO allies.
