The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) says its newly launched Membership Value Programme (MVP) will help expand pension coverage by attracting more workers who are currently outside the formal pension system.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the launch, Director-General of SSNIT, Kwesi Afreh Biney, said the initiative forms part of the Trust's broader transformation agenda to make pension services more accessible, relevant, and responsive to the changing needs of Ghanaian workers.
The programme is expected to encourage more workers to join the pension scheme and strengthen social security protection across the country.
