Ethical Leadership Conference 2026: Stakeholders Push for Accountability Across Africa

Stakeholders from across sectors gathered at the 2026 Ethical Leadership Conference, organised by Globethics in collaboration with the All Africa Conference of Churches, to discuss strategies for promoting ethical practices in both the public and private sectors.

Speaking at the conference, Master Trainer for the Ethical Leadership for an Inclusive Future (ELIF) Project, John Kofi Annan, said the initiative is focused on promoting and strengthening ethical leadership, accountability and responsible decision-making among institutions across Africa.

He explained that the ELIF Project targets churches, civil society organisations (CSOs), and other institutions as key partners in building a culture of integrity and ethical governance.

The conference provided a platform for stakeholders to explore practical approaches to strengthening values-based leadership and creating more inclusive societies.
