Koku Anyidoho Calls for National Mindset Transformation Curriculum

Renowned politician Samuel Koku Anyidoho says the responsibility of promoting and enforcing ethical values in Ghana should not rest solely on political leaders.

Speaking at the 2026 Ethical Leadership Conference, organised by GlobeEthics and the All Africa Conference of Churches, Mr. Anyidoho said Ghana's core values are already reflected in the national anthem and national pledge.

He, however, lamented that these values have largely become ceremonial recitations rather than principles that guide everyday behaviour.

Mr. Anyidoho also called for the introduction of a national mindset transformation curriculum to instill ethical values, strengthen civic responsibility and promote nation-building.
