DTT Committee Submits Final Report as Govt Promises Position Paper in 14 Days

The Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) Committee has presented its final report to the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations following its mandate to review Ghana's digital television platform.

The committee was established to assess the DTT framework and make recommendations on issues including channel fee pricing, governance and the sustainability of the platform for broadcasters.

Following the submission of the report, the Minister has pledged to issue a government position paper on the committee's recommendations within 14 days.

The move is expected to provide clarity on the future direction of Ghana's digital broadcasting landscape and address concerns surrounding the operation and financing of the DTT platform.
