Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is seeking a strategic partnership with the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) to promote locally made jewellery and strengthen collaboration between Ghana's creative industry and the country's gold sector.

The musician says the partnership will help showcase Ghanaian craftsmanship to international audiences while creating new opportunities for the creative economy through music, fashion and culture.

Speaking during a visit to GoldBod alongside rapper Medikal and members of his management team, Shatta Wale said the engagement forms part of efforts to explore collaboration ahead of the upcoming ShattaFest UK event.

Medikal noted that Ghana's music industry can serve as a powerful marketing platform for locally produced gold and jewellery, with artistes using concerts, music videos and international engagements to promote Ghanaian brands globally.
