Thousands of Gazans found joy in special World Cup screenings, organized by Mohamed al-Wahidi, director of the Egyptian Aid Committee in Gaza.
But heartbreak came when al-Wahidi was killed by an Israeli strike on July 7, the same day that Egypt was knocked out by Argentina at the World Cup.
