Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has joined members of Asanteman at the Manhyia Palace as part of activities to officially usher in the new Asantehemaa, Nana Yaa Akyiaa II.
The gathering brings together traditional leaders, dignitaries and members of the Asante Kingdom for activities marking the beginning of a new chapter in Asanteman's traditional leadership.
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is expected to lead proceedings as the kingdom welcomes the newly selected Queenmother.
