Asanteman has convened today as part of activities to officially usher in the new Asantehemaa, Nana Yaa Akyiaa II.
The gathering brings together members of Asanteman as the Asante Kingdom begins a new chapter under the leadership of the newly selected Queenmother.
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is expected to address members of Asanteman during the gathering as part of the official activities marking the transition.
