The European Union says accountable and transparent management of public funds is critical to improving service delivery, strengthening public trust, and attracting long-term investment into Ghana.
The remarks were made at the launch of the 2025 Public Financial Management Compliance League Table, which assesses the performance of public institutions in managing state resources.
The EU emphasised the need for stronger financial controls, transparency, and accountability to support effective governance and sustainable development.
